Acupuncture Awareness Week - 25th February to 3rd March
Sunday, January 20, 2013
We’re getting Acupuncture Awareness Week off to a good start at Woodside Acupuncture by running a day of 15 minute consultations (that are free!) on Tuesday 26th February. You will meet with practitioner Angela Wallis and get answers to the burning questions you might have about acupuncture treatment.
As part of the session you can have your tongue diagnosed and find out whether your health issues can benefit from acupuncture treatment. You’ll leave the session having more understanding of acupuncture, greater insight into your health as well as some lifestyle tips to help you on your way!

The punk singer and actress Toyah Willcox is championing Acupuncture Awareness Week as she's had acupuncture for many years. Initially Toyah tried it for hip pain which worked a treat, and she now has acupuncture regularly to help her manage insomnia and anxiety. In this video Toyah describes why she has treatment, what acupuncture feels like and the benefits it offers. The theme for this year's Acupuncture Awareness Week is insomnia. Our patients say how relaxed they feel during their acupuncture sessions and that invariably they sleep better afterwards. Click here to see fellow practitioner Maureen Cromey and GP Dr Sarah Jarvis talking about how to treat insomnia. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqlgDQgLUgI&feature=player_embedded
